"Steve and I decided to head on up to Dead Broke Farm again .. to volunteer for a couple days.. each time we volunteer our hearts are more captured then the time before. The first young man we met this time was Lewis, a very smart young man so full of energy he put us right to work, feeding these fabulous horses. As we fed each horse my heart bonded with these amazing animals more so then the time before, if that is possible. As I had said in an earlier review I was very intimidated by horses for my experience with them in the past was not so positive. Now I find myself re bonded with these amazing creatures and have regained my self confidence as well as a very strong trust for these horses..and whats so amazing to me..is each time I visit DBF's I learn something I never knew.. even owning horses in the past.. I'm still learning things I never knew! Carla the owner of DBF's has such a deep ..totally committed.. love for these amazing creatures .. it shows down to the littlest detail..in everything she does. And not just for the horses.. but for all of the volunteers as well as the guests that come to ride.. not a one.. leaves disappointed. I've seen nothing but love come from these horses..and nothing but love and dedication given back to these amazing creatures. I think anyone who is thinking about riding..needs to take a trip to Dead Broke Farms.. you wont be disappointed! Signed with love..admiration and thanks. Debbie and Steve"
